Supporting Fertility With Acupuncture

Whether trying to conceive naturally, or going through fertility treatment, Chinese medicine can greatly increase your chances. Having trouble conceiving can be a difficult and painful journey, and above all, I create a caring and empathetic space for all women who come to me. While my expertise is with women, it’s important to mention male factor infertility, which can also be treated with Chinese medicine. While this is not my speciality, I can refer men to appropriate practitioners.

Chinese medicine can regulate your cycle, lengthen a short luteul phase, increase the thickness and quality of your endometrium, and increase fertile cervical fluid. Food is also medicine, and I educate my patients on the kind of nutrition that helps fertility.

In addition to Chinese medicine, I help women understand and track their cycles using the Fertility Awareness Method. This helps you to know when your peak fertile days are, and it’s a powerful tool that helps many couples conceive.

It’s really important to begin getting support in the months leading up to the treatment, as this allows for greater egg retrieval and a thicker uterus lining.
